The Beautiful Pacific Northwest

I was lucky enough to take a girls only trip to the Northwest! Here's a taste of the fun and adventure that spanned from Portland, Oregon to Seattle and Coupeville, Washington, and included trips on the Washinton State ferries! So fun!!! Thanks for the memories, ladies!

Daily - African Daisies

You may see a lot of flowers and plants in the upcoming Daily pictures. I love gardening, and though I am by no means a very accomplished gardener, as the warm spring weather inspires me, I find myself outside in the garden a lot! poppies - beginning the "Daily"

My new poppies! These are going in the flower garden when it gets rejuvinated on Friday. I thought this would be a bright way to start my "Daily" posts. I'm going to try to take a picture of something - anything - most days. Knowing the demands on my time, I have to accept that it won't be every day, but the idea is that "Daily" there is something beautiful, exciting, sweet, important, normal, fun, enjoyable.....well, you get the picture. There's always a picture waiting to be taken, a story to be told. Hope you enjoy, and I'd love your feedback!

John's Wedding

My amazing brother, John, is married! We all had so much fun at their beautiful wedding, and it was a special treat and honor that Joshua was the ring bearer/bell ringer! He had a blast doing his "job". I'm so blessed to welcome a wonderful new sister-in-law, Johanna, to the family! Congratulations, guys - we love you!
